Gillmartin Health – Reflective Practice, Stat!
A Step-by-step Companion for Medical, Allied and Community Health Practitioners
Terms, Conditions & Consent Form
- Gillmartin Health is a sole practitioner run by Emily Gillmartin, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, with the practice encapsulating psychological therapy, individual and group supervision, psychoeducation and consultation services. The Reflective Practice, Stat! online program draws on frameworks such as Critical Reflective Practice and is designed to support practitioners/professionals in the community/welfare services sector, disability sector, Medical Practitioner and allied health sector, social workers, educators and the like.
- Reflective Practice, Stat! is an online, self-paced program designed to provide structured reflection questions for individual practitioners. While this online program can offer deep insight and structured reflection, it is not a substitute for professional supervision. All being well, the reflective questions are designed to get you thinking – including about the value of reflective practice in a structured environment – so you can refine your thinking on common dilemmas that arise in practice.
- Access Period: Participants will have two (2) months of access to the online program from the date of purchase.
- This online, self paced program does not constitute psychological therapy or professional supervision offerings by Gillmartin Health, though those are potentially available individually for participants in the program under a separate fee arrangement.
- Participant Responsibilities: Participants agree to engage with the materials privately and thoughtfully. All practice reflections, even if fictionalised, should maintain the confidentiality of any client or colleague discussed. Participants should ensure they are working in a secure and private environment to protect confidentiality and emotional safety.
- Cross-Referral Requests: Requests to refer a patient or client to Gillmartin Health arising from insights during the program will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved prior to any action.
- Gillmartin Health may at any time and in their sole discretion, terminate a participant’s registration in the Gillmartin Health ‘Reflective Practice, Stat!’ Program if considered appropriate to do so. If there is termination of a participant’s registration in the program on this basis, a partial refund of the participant’s registration fees may be provided in Gillmartin Health’s discretion.
- Privacy and Information Handling: Gillmartin Health may collect and store personal details such as names, email addresses, and access logs. These are stored securely and will not be disclosed without consent, unless required by law (e.g., mandatory reporting obligations). Below is a Privacy Policy you need to read and acknowledge. There may be circumstances where we need to disclose information in relation to you and potentially a patient or customer of yours in order to comply with the law, including under mandatory reporting laws, if you have not done so and refused to do so.
- Confidentiality: Participants acknowledge they may be exposed to their own emotionally confronting reflections/perspectives. All engagement with the program should be conducted with sensitivity and a commitment to maintaining the privacy and dignity of any individuals referenced, whether fictional or real.
